While I was searching for recipe ideas for Halloween I came across this easy and effective Halloween decoration from Martha Stewart.
1. Cut out bat shapes from black card.
2. Make a small hole in the center of each bat with a tack.
3. Poke a piece of thread through each hole, and knot it.
4. Tie the bats to a found branch (painting it black is optional).
5. Then hang the branch from two pieces of thread secured to the top of the window with flat thumbtacks.
